Telis Katsikakis was a distinguished cellist who studied at the Athens Conservatoire. He was a member of the renowned Hellenic Quartet, alongside Tatsis Apostolidis (Violin I), Ersi Kagelari (Violin II), and Giannis Vatikiotis (Viola). The quartet became a significant ensemble in Greece, premiering numerous works by Greek composers and contributing to the promotion of Greek classical music. Katsikakis also served as a member of the Athens State Orchestra.
