String Quartet - Ensemble

The Tettix Ensemble was founded in 2005 at the Royal Academy of Music in London by violinist Anastasios Mavroudis. Characterised by its flexible formation, the ensemble performs a wide variety of musical works.

Tettix has performed numerous works by Greek composers, including Yorgos Sicilianos and Mikis Theodorakis. In 2005, the ensemble celebrated Theodorakis’s 80th birthday with a special tribute concert at the Hellenic Centre in London, featuring a selection of his classical chamber music works. The ensemble has appeared in venues across London, Athens, and Florence.
