Since 1994, Vasiliou has served as a répétiteur for more than sixty GNO productions, including Turandot, Cavalleria rusticana, Pagliacci, and Die Fledermaus. He was appointed assistant chorus master (2001–2003) and later chorus master of the GNO from 2005 to 2011. In 2011, he became an assistant conductor for the GNO and a study advisor for the GNO Opera Studio.

As a conductor, Vasiliou has collaborated with the Athens State Orchestra, the Orchestra of Colors, and the GNO Orchestra. Additionally, several of his compositions have been performed at the Athens Concert Hall.
