Hellenic Quartet
Fita Valenti studied cello at Detmold University of Music under Professor André Navarra, earning her diploma in 1973. From 1974 to 1976, she was a member of the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1977, she joined both the Athens State Orchestra and the ERT Symphony Orchestra. In 1980, she became a member of the Small String Orchestra, serving as its principal cellist from 1981 onward.
Valenti has performed extensively in chamber music events in Germany and Greece. Her repertoire includes piano recitals, violin and cello duets, piano trios, and string trios, many of which were broadcast live on the Third Programme of ERT. In 1981, she also became a member of the Hellenic Quartet.
