Clarinetist
Born in Athens in 1932. Studied clarinet at the Athens Conservatory. Participated in the organization and activities of small ensembles and collaborated with significant Greek and foreign soloists. Gave numerous recitals, both in and outside Greece. Collaborated as a soloist with all Greek symphony orchestras. Was a principal of the Orchestra of the Greek National Opera, the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT, and the Orchestra of Colors. Currently, is a principal in KOA (Symphony Orchestra of Athens). Made many recordings for radio, television, theater, cinema, and for record releases. Collaborated for many years with Manos Hadjidakis. Is one of the main collaborators of Eleni Karaindrou.”
