New Hellenic Quartet

Angeliki Yannaki studied violin (diploma and master’s degree with distinction) and viola (diploma and master’s degree) in Athens and London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music, supported by scholarships from the Skilitsi Foundation, Alexander Onassis Foundation, Alexandra Trianti Foundation, and the Royal College of Music. She has performed chamber music concerts in England, Scotland, France, Austria, Turkey, Cyprus, and Greece, and has appeared live on BBC Radio 3.

From 2007 to 2010, she was a member of the New Hellenic Quartet, with which she performed extensively in Greece and abroad and contributed to significant recordings. As a soloist, she has performed with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, Camerata, Orchestra of Colours, and the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra. She is also a member of the contemporary music ensemble Ergon Ensemble.

Since 2006, she has held the position of Principal Viola with the Greek National Opera Orchestra.
