Alexander Botinis

Αλέξανδρος Μποτίνης

Cellist

Alexander Botinis was born in Moscow. He studied cello in Greece, France, and Russia, earning first prizes in many competitions. Botinis has made recordings for radio and television and has performed in France, Russia, Italy, Morocco, Turkey, and Greece. Since 2007, he has been working in Greece, collaborating with the Orchestra of the Greek National Opera, the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT, and others.

His solo and orchestral activities span a wide repertoire of classical and contemporary music.
