The event schedule included performances of Yorgos Sicilianos’ Etudes Compositionnelles Op. 32, Eight Children’s Miniatures Op. 23, and Violin Sonata Op. 45. Ermis Theodorakis played the piano for all three works, with Georgios Demertzis joining on violin for the sonata. The program also featured speeches by Prof. Dionysis A. Zivas, President of the Hellenic Society for Aesthetics; Prof. Apostolos Kostios from the University of Athens; and Prof. Giannis Ioannidis, composer and conductor, who had conducted the premiere of Sicilianos’s The Lady in the Moonlight, Op. 41 on March 9, 1978, at the French Institute in Athens.
