Benaki Museum: An event dedicated to the memory of Yorgos Sicilianos

The event is held to mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of the prominent Greek composer Yorgos Sicilianos (1920–2005).

The event will be opened with a greeting by Aimia Geroulanou, Chair of the Administrative Committee of the Benaki Museum.

Markos Tsetsos, Associate Professor of Music Aesthetics at the Department of Music Studies, University of Athens, will deliver a talk titled Yorgos Sicilianos: Aspects of His Life, Work, and Thought.

The event will conclude with the presentation of works by Yorgos Sicilianos.
