This research focuses on the performance practice of Yorgos Sicilianos’s piano works. It presents findings from empirical studies and interviews with musicians who collaborated with the composer. The paper examines how insights from Sicilianos himself and those close to him inform the interpretation of his piano music. The study aims to provide a deeper understanding of the cognitive processes involved in performing Sicilianos’s compositions and offers practical recommendations for pianists.
