Popi Eustratiadi

Πόπη Ευστρατιάδη

Independent

Popi Eustratiadi was born in Veria and studied music at the State Conservatoire of Thessaloniki. She also studied Greek Philology at the University of Thessaloniki. She continued her studies in Athens with Marika Papaioannou and Ida Margariti. She later went on to study at the Salzburg Academy with Frederic Gevers, who was a specialist in Baroque music. She performed extensively in Greece and on Greek National Radio. Eustratiadi also appeared as a soloist with the State Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki and the Orchestra of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation – ERT. She also appeared internationally as a soloist with orchestras and as a recitalist. She was a professor of piano at the Athens Conservatoire from 1974 onwards.
