Nelli Semitekolo

Νέλλη Σεμιτέκολο

Pianist

Nelli Semitekolo, born in Athens, received her diploma from the National Conservatory, where she studied under Fofi Grafiadou and Krinio Kalomoiri. She advanced her piano education at the Music Academy of Munich with Erik Then-Bergh and took private lessons with Alice Pashkus.

Semitekolo has had long-standing collaborations with Theodore Antoniou’s Contemporary Music Ensemble and previously worked with Manos Hadjidakis on the Third Program, the “Musical Augusts” of Heraklion, and at the Song Contests of Corfu.

Her performances have spanned numerous European countries, including Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria, and the former Yugoslavia. She has participated in festivals in cities such as Athens, Patras, Heraklion, Corfu, Kalamata, Piraeus, Ohrid, and Lefkada. Semitekolo has also collaborated with all major Greek orchestras in radio and television productions. Her discography features works by Grigoriou, Kalomoiri, Kurupu, Mikroutsikos, Skalkotas, Sfetsas, and Hristou.

Currently, she teaches at the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata and the Athenaeum Conservatory.
