Born in Athens, Miltos Logiadis studied theory and piano at the National Conservatory of Athens and Chalandri, graduating with the first prize and an excellence award for exceptional performance. With a scholarship from the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation, he continued his studies with Fritz Schieri, Max Frei, and Hermann Michael at the Munich Music Academy. Here, he graduated with diplomas in choral and orchestral conducting and a Meisterklasse diploma, achieving the highest grade ever awarded by the Academy.

During his studies in Munich, Logiadis taught the Madrigalists’ Choir at the Music Academy. He then worked as a permanent conductor and pianist for two years at the opera in Ulm.

In 1992, Miltos Logiadis returned to Greece, following an invitation from Manos Hadjidakis, to collaborate with the Orchestra of Colors. He has a rich repertoire of concerts and performances in Greece and abroad. Logiadis has conducted significant Greek and world premieres, including Claude Debussy’s “Pelléas et Mélisande,” G.F. Handel’s “Alcina,” Nino Rota’s “Il cappello di paglia di Firenze,” Nikos Skalkottas’s ballet “The Sea,” Gustav Holst’s “The Planets,” Olivier Messiaen’s “Turangalila Symphony,” Gyorgy Ligeti’s “Atmosphères” and “Lontano,” Witold Lutoslawski’s “Piano Concerto,” and Jules Massenet’s opera “Thaïs.”

He has a substantial discography of over 30 CDs, including works by Nikos Skalkottas, Iannis Xenakis, Giannis Christou, Petros Petridis, Giannis Konstantinidis, Astor Piazzolla, Manos Hadjidakis, Mikis Theodorakis, Giorgos Kouroupos, and other Greek and foreign composers.

Logiadis has conducted the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Russia, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London, the Opera Orchestras of Moscow and Hamburg, the Danish Royal Opera Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Vienna Konzertverein Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Sofia Opera Orchestra, the Prague Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Greek National Opera, the State Orchestra of Athens, the National Symphony Orchestra of ERT, the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the Camerata, and others.

He recorded for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and the ERT Symphony Orchestra, and participated in the ceremonies, conducting Spyros Samaras’ Olympic Hymn.

Logiadis served as the artistic director of the ERT Musical Ensembles (2015-2016) and at the Athens Concert Hall (2016-2020).
