She was born in Athens. She began her flute studies at the Athens Conservatory, initially in the class of Rozina Christopoulou and later with Urs Rutimann, from whom she received her diploma with honors. She has attended flute seminars with P.L. Graf, as well as orchestra seminars for young musicians: Athens Municipality Orchestra seminar (1989), Pan-European Orchestra Seminar (1990-1991). She has collaborated with the Orchestra of Colors and with the National Lyric Stage, where she continues to work today as second flute and piccolo player.
