Pianist
Argyro Metaxa, originally from Pontus, studied piano at the Athens Conservatory with Marika Papaioannou and graduated in 1944 with Honors and Second Prize. She continued her studies in Salzburg from where she received a Diploma from the Academy there while also attending lessons with the Mozarteum professor, Solt. Her rich artistic activity includes concerts in Greece and abroad, recordings of works by Greek composers for solo piano, musical editing of theatrical works, as well as the production of classical music programs for the Greek Radio.
